Freni E Frizioni X La Punta — Rome
Our August guest shift brought together two distinct names from Rome’s cocktail scene: Freni e Frizioni and La Punta Expendio de Agave.
Freni e Frizioni is one of Rome’s most established and internationally recognised cocktail bars. Located in the heart of Trastevere in a former mechanic’s workshop, it has developed from a neighbourhood institution into an internationally recognised destination, known for its creative cocktails, energetic atmosphere and distinctive approach to hospitality.
After years of recognition by The World’s 50 Best Bars, Freni e Frizioni reached No.31 in Europe’s 50 Best Bars 2026, continuing its presence among the leading names of the international cocktail scene.
La Punta Expendio de Agave is a separate Rome cocktail bar dedicated to Mexican drinking culture and the world of agave spirits, with a particular focus on tequila, mezcal and traditional Mexican distillates.
On 19 August, Riccardo Rossi from Freni e Frizioni and Cristian Bugiada from La Punta travelled to Santorini, bringing both Roman bars together for a special guest shift at Bar To Navagio.
For one night, three bars from Santorini and Rome shared the same counter, bringing together different styles, cocktails and approaches to hospitality.
